Going Green...or at least Greener :)

I now walk to work everyday...I love it!! It's so nice to feel the sun on my face and smell the fresh ocean air. Today I also decided to research biodegradable dog poop bags, and they do exist! I found a great website that sells them I am so tired of using plastic grocery sacks especially when I read today on cnn.com that it takes 430,000 gallons of oil to manufacture 100 million plastic grocery bags!!!

Doing the math this is what I came up with....the other day oil closed at $123 a barrel. I found there is about 42 gallons of oil per barrel. That means it required 10,239 barrels of oil costing a total of $1,259,397 to make plastic grocery bags last year. No thank you! I am ordering BioBags!!!! here is a website that sells them get yours today and do your part!

Moving is hard work!!

I admit, I forgot how much work it is to move! We are finally moved into the new place in Redondo, moved but not organized. I have to say that we have enjoyed our last couple of weeks in our location by the ocean, our little slice of paradise in the Southbay. Bosco is settling quiet well and I am surprised by how much he is adjusting to the walks and not having his yard. He has met so many new friends on our daily adventures! I think we have seen a total of 5 other Boston Terriers so far. I will post some pics I have taken of our new neighborhood. Bad new is my couch did not fit in the front door, good news is new furniture! woo hoo!

This is the bossman, Bosco, he loves to play in his yard. Moving to the beach is going to be an adjustment to his lifestyle, I am planning on us both meeting new friends in our new neighborhood!
